User:FloweringOctopus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This user is English, is a native UK English speaker, and lives in England. She is interested in adding English information or perspective where it is lacking (e.g. "double cream").

This user is biologically female. She/her are correct. (However, she is never offended by accidental misgendering :-) including the use of male pronouns/address from dialects of English where use of male forms is still regarded as the correct inclusive form where gender is not known).

This user is dyslexia. She asks people to be charitable regarding her random bad spelling and erratic computer literacy :-). She invites people to correct mispelling on talk pages if they wish, but asks them to stick to neutral phrasing, e.g., "By the way, "seperate" is spelt "separate", i.e. with an "a" :-)", and to avoid saying things like, "Wow, you're careless, aren't you?" or, "Goodness, for a native English speaker, your spelling would disgrace an six-year old."

This user is visually impaired and generally reads wikipedia in approximately 175% magnification.

This user has complicated disabilities and is interested in seeking the same respect for people with disabilities as ought to be shown to people with any other protected characteristic (or, indeed, to any person regardless). However, she is also very aware of the dangers of thought-police-style linguistic censorship :-)

She is also liable to disappear randomly due to being in poor health. She will generally reappear sooner or later.

This user graduated in Catholic philosophy. Her oddities, however, are not entirely the fault of her education... :-P

Hope this helps - happy wiki-editing to all :-)
