I'm a retired, relatively unorthodox Orthodox Rabbi.

I try to learn from every person I come across.

My umpteenth great grandfather Shlomo Halevi Alkabetz moved to Safad in 1585. That makes me both an Israeli and a Palestinian. As far as I am concerned, I am an American and a Jerusalemite (both sides).
